Future Flounder fest ideas: 1) On the second lap you have to get squished by a thwomp or car (possible tracks: moonview highway, toads factory, bowsers castle etc.) 2) Use a wheel roulette to decide which character and kart/bike you use each race (both use the same combo) 3) Drive the first 30 seconds of the second lap looking behind you the whole time 4) Item rain but every time you get hit by an item you have to do a 360 degree spin 5) Do baby park with item rain for all 8 races or best of 3 grand Prix

Pretty sure this isn't what happened. I think Bowser tried to take the cut (and failed) but Troy's screen failed to show that with the lag. After Troy misses the shortcut himself, if you loook at the minimap immediately as he respawns, you can see Bowser's icon showing that he tried to take the cut a second time and failed again.
