I am happy to have finally finished this video. I started working on it way back in November, finding shortcuts and getting all the footage, and took a long break from it through most of December and January. However, this February, I put hours and hours into it to make it much better than the first two. And wow, did not expect it to be so long, 11 minutes of CT shortcut montage goodness!
Now, this series has always been about shortcuts with a little more risk in them than the average grass cut. So I thought it'd be appropriate to implement a "Risk vs Reward" which is what the "RvR" stands for.
★ 5 Stars = A shortcut where the reward greatly overpowers the risk (you should always go for these when able to)
★ 4 Stars = The reward outweighs the risks still, but not as beneficial
★ 3 Stars = Risk is equal to reward
★ 2 Stars = Risk outweighs reward most of the time
★ 1 Star = Should not be done in races, risk highly outweights the reward!
This is all opinion, of course, based on personal experience and how good I am at pulling off the shortcuts.
I also added how many mushrooms each shortcut takes to pull off. The "+" symbol, like on Koopa Troopa Beach, pretty much means that you only need 1 but with an extra, it can be done more effectively or easily.
Unlike the second one, there aren't many glitchy shortcuts in this video because most of them have been patched by now.
- Annotations don't pop up on mobile so in case you're wondering, the Stone Route cut takes 1 mushroom (not 0) and the Sunny Island shortcut doesn't take any mushrooms actually because of the speed mod. And last, GBA Bowser Castle 1 is actually supposed to be "SNES" and Headlong Highway is Headlong Skyway (obviously). It's easy to make a few mistakes when you have 200+ text boxes so please stop pointing them out, once is enough. lol

I love the one at 7:48. Just how the vehicle moves in the air is awesome. The air physics of bikes (particularly the inside drifters) gave MKWii a very unique feel to it that I absolutely loved.

Alright I read it, but I have to ask, if MK8 turns out like MK7, do you have any backup plans if the backup server attempt is unsuccessful, or will you just continue with MK8? I know this channel is Mario Kart-oriented and I'm sure most people want to keep seeing Mario Kart. I'm sure many would be upset to see the main game series your channel uploads not continue. I personally will be getting MK8 (not on launch, but soon after), and I'm going to stick with it no matter what. If the backup server attempt is successful, I'll play both MK8 and MKW. I don't know, just curious about what you have planned.

Dunno if someone already made a comment like this. I was rewatching your video and noticed at 6:14 you used a shroom for that shortcut. That cut can be done shroomless on 150cc, but not on 100cc. I've done it before in CTWW many times. Also, like Nuke and Yankees said, the Pipe Underworld shortcut shown can be done with only 1 shroom. I know you haven't been playing much, so just thought I'd let you know. Regardless, the video was still great and I can see how much work you put into it.

I assumed you could do Slot Circuit shroomless but you can cut off more with a shroom and it seems easier. I did not know you can get the pipe underworld one with 1 shroom though, the few times I tried, I came up quite a bit short
