This is why GV is said to be broken, like Meta knight. :P Anyways, BSs, go backwards if first(or whoever is thought to be the farthest ahead person, by the AI, who hasn't passed the finish) is closer behind them than forward, this happened to me once on GV2. It was caused by the glitching done on that little mountain you hopped on.

It's head backwards before, when it's been going for 1st, but 1st crosses over the finish line before it can target them, so it flies backwards to hit 2nd, but then 2nd crosses too, so it flies backwards to 3rd. That's happened loads of times on WiFi MKW, so it isn't a glitch, because it's also happened in a few 150cc races (not WiFi). In fact, it's quite common to happen with me.

the blue shell is literally a heat seeking missile, and the "heat" in transferred to the guy in 1st, if it's after u and some1 else takes the lead, the blue shell will go back(also works if 1st place falls into lava)

The reason why 3 people got it by blue shell it is because there was a blue shell hacker, and also because when a lot of blue shell is thrown at the same time by a blue shell hacker if a blue shell see the one in first already being exploded by a blue shell or getting stunt by under item it will go to the second place and so on, banana peel is not a stunt item.

The Spiny Shell glitch happened to me on wi-fi today. I was probably a few inches behind 1st place. The blue shell targets me and not 1st place. And this was during a Bike vs. Kart war for gamefaqs.

Answers: 1. Coincidence. 3 other people slipped over a banana or something at the same time. 2,3. The person in 2nd place threw it backwards to hit u in 3rd place.

no, if a blue shell is on you, and yoiu fall off the map or into a hazard (lava) it still comes after you, and no one else

I don't think the game was programmed to have 3 people do the GV 10 second lap glitch lol, but yea, today I was about to lap some guy and he threw a blue shell and it just went backwards and hit me right away, now that's shouldnt be like that, if I had to go all around the track, the blue shell should too lol.

In grand prix mirror mode I was in 5th place in the final lap and I receive a blue shell in my item box but every one in front of me already finish the race so I thought the blue shell would it me so I trow the blue shell and it went backward and hit the one in 6th place

Sometime when I play against the cpu during a race when we are neck to neck during the race my rank number goes back and forth from first to second very quickly. Why does this happen? Would it still do that after you pass the finish line?

1) The Spiney Shell was going backwards because you were kicking everyone's ass and you were about to lap someone and the Spiney Shell wasn't going to go all the way around the course just to hit you. 2) It hit when you were in 3rd because it felt like it. 3) It hit all 4/5 ppl because one of those assholes were too much of a wimp to play it fair.

it happened to me once. I was racing with like 5 ppl and i was on jungle parkway and i got hit by a blue shell when i was fourth and it came at me backwards as well and that race ended up going to all the other people 3 star and 9999 rating :$ :?
