I love the Thundercloud. I don't want it back, however. Not until we step away from "rollercoaster" tracks. Then the offroad stat would be the best thing ever. Most people don't know about it which I think is why it's so hated.

I just want to have a conversation with whoever thought it would be a good idea to include the Thunder Cloud, POW Block, and Mega Mushroom in Mario Kart Wii. I'm saying this because I hate all of the aforementioned items, and aside from the Mega Mushroom in Tour, I'm relieved that none of the Wii exclusive items have been in a Mario Kart installment since.

Thundercloud is good and bad. While using you get speed boost and off track terrain won't slow you, but once it's time limit is up it strikes you, and can be passed to others to strike them instead.

Brick Wall the coin gives you a speed increase (a very small one, but it still has an effect) while the thundercloud is a shock that only affects you. Thats why i think the TC is worse

ModestScizor45 the tc has a way bigger boost and can be passed which makes more strategy and it's funny when people stop to avoid it. While you get coins almost every time in first even when you have 10. I'm not saying I like tc, but I hate the coin.

Brick Wall i personally like the fast-paced element of mario kart more than anything else (hence why i only play 200cc on mk8), and the TC in the end just slows down the race. I feel like what they tried to do with the coin was give 1st place potential to be defenseless so others can catch up, but imo they should've just brought the FIB back to do that.

One time I play with my friend, and I got thunderstorm cloud, so I drive all the shortcut and when it almost shoot me, I bumped Bowser and gave the cloud to Bowser so I hadn't got zapped and Bowser did, also I walked the shortcut and from 5th to 2nd (As I remember) 😂
