Mario Kart X: 100+ Character Roster!

The next Mario Kart (Mario Kart 9, Mario Kart X, Mario Kart Ultimate, etc) game is on its way, and there is lots to predict. I will be predicting which characters we’ll be getting. I also go beyond the norm of one character roster and throw in many ideas for better organization and more customization in game for a great experience for all! :)
There are several unique characters they can add, so let’s hope that in the slightest chance, they take some inspiration from this video in regards to the drivers we get. :D

Separating characters under different menus is a pointless effort that Nintendo would never do. You'd probably need to be able to have all of those menus open at the same time for local multiplayer, which defeats the point a bit and is an option I imagine many players would enable immediately in a tedious fashion every time they used the character select screen. I know MK8 already has alts but they're much more similar to the original character than what you're suggesting, which is that entirely unique and popular characters be hidden to "save space" which just sounds like a fake solution to a fake issue. Also a lot of the characters people want to be alts are really only redundant by association and vibes. If they have different weight classes, base models, animations, and voices, then they're entirely unique by Mario Kart standards.

Metal Mario is not "filler." It also makes no sense for him to have the same stats as Mario. He's a heavier character for extremely obvious reasons.

Nice roster. I really like the idea of challenges for alts. Mkt has so many cool alts and would love them in the next game. Never thoughts of pets but they can honestly work. Overall really good video.

I think it would be cooler if the rosters were unlockable through in game currency or challenges, I know it’s probably less likely but I just am not a fan of live service games

I want the next mario kart to have something like the crash team racing nitro fueled grand prixs Idk if you ever played it but it was a monthly event that added a track a few characters skins wheels carts etc all for free And once a grand prix has been over for a few months it got added to the game's store with ingame currency (that unfortunately you could also buy) but this was more of an activation thing not something the devs did

this video sucks to be fair. rather focus (for example character exclusive powerups) on the already existing characters than create dozens whcih most people only know 20% of. this also feels way too much like a roblox or mobile game not like a nintendo game. other ideas how to make mario kart 9 great would be great creative tracks, double dash modes, multiple mini games, making the battle mode better and what would be neat having a garage kind of where you can put some throphies there and peope can see it when they go on your profile

The crossover characters I would choose Ankha from animal crossing Raymond Tom Nook from animal crossing the squid sisters from splatoon 1 off the hook splatoon 2 Bayonetta Shadow Silver Sonic Knuckles Tails Amy Vector Espio Charmy and Infinite from Sonic the hedgehog I would also choose Captain Falcon Wii Fit Trainer male and female Bayonetta Cloud and Richter and Simon from castlevania
