Whenever I listen to Mario Lanza singing opera I can‘t help thinking how absolutely fantastic he could have been on the opera stage hadn‘t he taken the track to Hollywood… Yes, I‘m immensely grateful for the movies he made! But perhaps he should have continued studying and then establish himself in the world of opera first, because sometimes you don‘t get a second chance. He didn‘t. He died too young, too soon. And all his fans around the world miss him terribly.
