Absolutely love this scene from one of (IMO) Mario's best films. I love how gorgeous KG looks as Cio Cio San, but the best bit, for me anyway, is the little nose wrinkle and head shake that Mario does when he knows he's nailed that ending. DES makes it even better to hear and watch, so thank you, as always, for posting X

Perhaps this Pinkerton is not the perfect gentleman, but he‘s a man alright, ready, willing, and able to sweep Butterfly off her at first still reluctant feet… 🌹🌹🌹 I love this scene! I even daresay that it‘s among my favourites from Mario Lanza‘s films… ✨✨✨ And Kathryn Grayson was so lovely and her voice was so sweet that one doesn‘t mind that her voice might have been a little to light and a little to small for an actual career in opera. 🌸🌸🌸 Thank you for all your magnificent uploads!!! 🙏🍀🙏🍀🙏

Kathryn Grayson remained an attractive woman, even in the later years of her life. She used to appear in some of the earlier murder she wrote mysteries that appear on TV. In those, She was one of the of the towns people who used to congregate in the local beauty shop.
