Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and now Mario & Luigi. It's been an amazing renaissance of Mario RPGs on the Switch.

I can't believe this RPG of a Mario franchise came back and rose from the grave after AlphaDream gone bankrupt. And they made Brothership really aesthetically so good. ❤ I also love that it explores Mario and Luigi's bond as brothers. I can tell they have such a great dynamic and love with each other. Also in the first part of the game, where Luigi disappears into the rift reminds me of the movie, where he also disappears in the rift and into Bowser's Kingdom.

I’m going to use these first couple of videos to test the waters to see if I want to buy this one - I love Mario & Luigi, but have to be picky about which games I play for money related reasons, lol Can’t wait for more! This looks super high energy and fun already!

Already the game is off to a pretty good start. From that intro, I see Nintendo is trying to appeal to the Mario movie crowd with Mario and Luigi's close relationship as brothers (to the point where they have separation anxiety). But I am enjoying the new characters and familiar yet spiced-up gameplay. (I was not expecting the Morgana edit at 14:10. It caught me so off-guard I burst out laughing!)

To be perfectly honest, Snoutlet just *fits in.* He feels almost exactly like Morgana jumped into the Mario universe with zero hesitation! I love him already!

I'm a bit late to watching these videos, mainly since I was a bit busy with college classes, but now I can watch these. Looking forward to the rest of videos of this game! 5:12 I think at some point in the present many game developers realized it was better to just use tutorial screens rather than have the characters spell things out for you, since by doing this way it's more comfortable and fast. I mean, the Sonic games also ended up doing in this style after some time. 11:15 looks like they're following how they did the dialogue in the PM:TTYD remake. 14:10 lol, nice sneaky Morgana edit. 19:20 lol, he gets anxious very fast. 22:28 lol, just like in TLOZ: WW. 36:39 lol at the failed Bros attack.

35:49 You can equip weapons in this DIY challenge. I did that challenge without gear at first, but I realized that you can equip weapons when you are on that challenge

So initially, the goal is to give the troublemakers and their boss the boot in order to reconnect the island by the lighthouse to progress. What kind of heartless jerk would that be to do such a heinous act, not counting Bowser since he had nothing to do with this?

Sorry, but I’m gonna have to sit these videos out, for now. I know I’m more of a Mario fan than some of your other series, but I’m still waiting for my rental copy, and I don’t want to be spoiled on anything. Still, if this game has a New Game + of any sort, or if it doesn’t and I’m just done with my run, this will be my first stop.

I’m not done with the game yet, but I figured I waited long enough. I’ll only watch up to the points that I’ve reached. 17:38 + 29:18 I’ve gotten pretty far into this game, and I *still* have muscle memory issues with this new system. 20:37 The *_INSTANT_* I saw this challenge, I unequipped everything from both Mario & Luigi, just to get it over with faster. I would’ve finished sooner than I should’ve, but I forgot that Hammers count as equipment, and that they’re automatically equipped the moment you get them. 40:13 There’s something I like about the Luigi Logic mechanic; With Luigi being autonomous at certain points, it allows for both Mario & Luigi to work together slightly separately, not just in tandem.

Sailing for adventure on the Big Blue Wet Thing. 2:27 Oh no, lost in the Bifrost. Luigi won't last 2 seconds on Shakar. 39:37 Although the slits on that gate looked spaced out enough to climb what Luigi did here works too. 40:14 Context Sensitive! Press B. 42:09 Alright. Take off your shoe and hit the button with the heel. Presto. Luigi Logic.

all that I know of :X but since you can't keep track of the blocks like in the 3ds games there's no way to tell if there's more we haven't found
