Ecks and Shun are just support for other bosses, and when you actually fight the trio altogether, Ecks and Shun are still really only support since they only have like 2 attacks each while Ten has like 5-6. Ecks and Shun even act as supports during some of Ten's attacks.

Honestly, this music slaps. While boss themes from other games tells you that this is a big tough enemy that you need to conquer, the themes of this game just straight up tells you to dance with the enemy, go on and have fun with the battle. And I do love me a good violent dance.

i think what a lot of people really miss about the dichotomy between this and the lighthouse boss theme is how perfectly they both get the vibes for the situations youre fighting the bosses in! this theme sounds a but more malicious and intense because these bosses are always surprises you encounter on your adventure, while the lighthouse boss theme sounds more optimistic and cheerful because you walk into the lighthouse *expecting* there to be a big fight at the end! you're prepared and ready, and the theme cheers you on with that exact confidence in mind!

Im basic as hell, but the Bowser fight on Wayaway is my favorite boss in the game, I love the way he incorporates his minions in to every one of his attacks and the one attack he doesn’t utilize them, he utilizes status conditions like stun, burn, and trip reminding us that Bowser isn’t this brute, but a commander of an army with tactics and strategy backed up by pure strength. Bowser has brains and brawn in spades but is unfortunate enough to have the two brothers who can kill Sephiroth 10 times over as arch-nemesis’s. I kind of get why Junior hypes him up much. P.S I don’t think this counts as a spoiler comment because they literally showed this fight in the trailers.

Im a coward. before I start fighting every boss I boo biscuit so I can preview their moves because lets be real, some of these bosses attacks are to insane to predict on a first go. That being said, Bowser may just be my favorite fight in the game, the way he actively incorporates his minions in to his moves and utilizes status conditions, proving that he is more than just a brute in combat.
