It's an easier but annoying version of tower of yiki It's easier because you can take 25% of his health away after sending him into the ocean but annoying because his attacks especially the hammer require precise timing so if you miss your blocking his can kill you within two turns

Earthwake is similar in a lot of ways but it feels way better to play against than the tower of yikk imo

I noticed a few Easter Eggs during this battle, like how you can see two of the Hooraw houses from your first time in Dreamy Wakeport (I think Thunder Sass and Heavy Zest, not sure). I also notice some dreamy equivalents to real world Wakeport locations, like the fountain, the ancient runs, and so on, and you can even see other dreamy locations in the distance. This also shows that the town really is flat, it's just because of dream logic that it seems like a platformer or cave when you're exploring it. That was a nice touch as well.

urg Hard Mode's Earthwake can be a little bit hard

Yeah, that hard mode hammer attack swings 11-15 times. I had to get REALLY GOOD at countering it to win. Giant hard mode bosses are especially tough because you can't just level grind to compensate for the difficulty spike

These giant bosses are pretty lame. I mean A GIANT WALKING GUARDIAN MADE OUT OF BUILDING! I expect that crap from other games not a Mario game! 80% of the giant bosses in this game suck. Only good giant bosses are Zeekeeper and Bowser despite the mechanics being shit!

If you think about it, it's actually cooler than it sounds. I don't know if you ever watched Power Rangers but it's kind of like you're fighting the Megazord. At least that's how I see it
