The boss fight was so unexpected in this game. And I love how just when you're like, "Wait...there's no millenium star....WHAT DID I SPEND ALL THIS TIME ON THIS GAME FOR???" the real one pops out. Totally love the surprises in this game!

If you think about it, it makes sense that the "Millennium Star" was an imposter. I mean, the reason it landed at Peach's Castle was because it was a NEWBORN. Do newborns have thick eyebrows and a mustache? No.

As a kid I always found it weird they make the fake Millennium Star look like a bad guy for lying without ever explaining the reason why he lied or why the real one was hiding in the first place.

Ive always assumed he acts as a decoy to protect the real one, I mean Tumble was following him around so hes clearly part of the scheme.

Unless you maybe count Dr Mario 64, but I don’t remember if that came out before this. I do remember it having a 2001 release date in some regions, but it somehow never came to the UK. Similar to Mario Super Sluggers, in this case.

When I as a kid completed this game years and years ago, I found the ending screen to be somewhat saddening, where Tumble has become lifeless. :(

For the majority of us, this is the first game we became fond of Princess Daisy. The last title we saw Daisy's classic design was Daisy's Rodeo! in Mario Party-e. Since Mario Party 4 and outside of Mario Party-e, Daisy got her cartoonish looking design and her personality became more cartoonish becoming the girl we remember her for.
