What I find great about the story mode is the little detail that Luigi is the odd man out for the star stamps, if you play as anyone else Luigi is the one who takes their place on the duel map.

Mario Party 3 really was the peak of the original mp concept. 4 was its own thing 5-8 were the capsules which were fine ig and afterwards... yk. The only thing another Mario Party did better than 3 imo is the story get up of Mario Party 2; I mean the dressing up and it being a big play on all the boards that was so cute and I totally think thats the only thing that another Mario Party did better than 3. It really was peak Mario Party!
