Super Paper Mario has always suffered from a lack of difficulty- so why don't we randomize every enemy in the game to see if putting superbosses in the first chapter makes things a little more difficult?

Just to be clear, the randomizer also included some unused enemies, like the Dark Atomic Boo at 1:51 and all the non-shadowy Shadoo clones. It would be awesome to see the unused enemies fixed up, for the sake of the randomizer (or any other mods of _Super Paper Mario_ that involve messing with the usual enemy placement).

SPM needs more mods in general. I know its battle system doesn't lend itself to the same kind of fun that Thousand Year Door's does, but still.

this is also why he had to check that the dark cursya wasnt a back cursya, because dark back cursyas go unused in the game but exist in the code

Bringle will not be able to escape Hampter mode, every single time he does a Super run his chat will force him to do it, as they should for it is the definition of peak content

Yeah, it's unfortunate that so many of the bosses crash. You'd really have to play with the "Safe" preset to avoid all the crashes, but it's not all that fun that way, so I made the "Bosses" one leave just enough of the spicy stuff to be somewhat playable - with the caveat that they might crash on real hardware when defeated. On Dolphin, if you go into options->interface and uncheck "Use Panic Handlers", it'll get rid of the skippable exceptions you sometimes get as well.

@@GeorgeMarionerd If I recall correctly, both dark boos and dark atomic boos exist in the game files, fully functional. It’s just that neither appear in any areas, and have no enemy card.

@Memer10157 No Dark Boos are definitely in the game, along with, amusingly, Dark Dark Boos in the Flopside pit. But yeah after watching the rest of the video I realise this has unused enemies in it too and that's where the atomic one comes in.
