What's up I'm RedFalcon and right now I'm playing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. I might play minigames against the Master CPUs, I might play boards against characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi and more?! A really interesting design choice in MP9 is how each board's bosses each test a different "skill." Toad Road: Hand-eye coordination in a 2D space. Bob-Omb Factory: Mindgames with other players. Boo's Horror Castle: Puzzle game skills. Blooper Beach: Aiming & depth perception. Magma Mine: Reaction time. Bowser Station: Luck (unfortunately).

Its been a while for me. Only thing i do is play to get this stupid challenge, super smash bros brawl. Challenges are beat boss battles on intense(impossible) and very hard(i got 9 with fox). But i may go back for the minigames despite this ruining the mario party franchise, oh wait, 10 did that with less inspired boards, and what sounded liked a good idea was not with overpowered bowser mode. Thank god the switch fixed mario golf,party,tennis.

I was replaying Mario Party 10 lately and the regular minigames are all really good - even better than I remembered 9's being. There's a lot of classic platforming - some of them feel more like Super Mario 3D World levels than Mario Party minigames. Good art direction, too.

While we're on the topic of underrated aspects of Mario Party 9, the soundtrack is unironically one of my favorites on the Wii. While not all of the tunes are the greatest (The non-tower-boss themes especially), there's still a lot of themes I really liked from this game, such as both of the variations of the main midboss theme, the final wave of the Bowser Jr fight theme, all of the main minigame themes, the Toad Road, Bob-omb Factory, and Magma Mine themes, the bowser encounter theme, and the you got a minigame theme are all amazing.

At 10:00 The game is to figure out which mine cart goes to which path. The mine carts always turn at every single possible turn. That means there is one mine cart per route. The watching is to essentially backtrack to see where the mine cart should start before reaching the destination.
