I was just playing mine recently for the 64 it still plays the same but I used to do is I use the lucky coin box that I bought in the shop and I just let them all go at it and whoever is the winner I'll click on that last turn and I picked that winner and I take all the coins shock the system still works after all these years I think I got mega mountain and space the final open already I'm going to check out the donkey Kong board😎🤔🎚️💯

KZbin automatically updated some settings awhile back - they add commercials automatically on fade to black. The bowser transition is perfect for an ad because it goes all black.

You know, i'm amazed that Nintendo didn't try to release this game along MP3 for either the Wii or Wii U's VC, i mean, i know the "rotate the stick" minigames are a good part in this one's case, but seeing how Nintendo actually re-worked the 1st gen pokemon games to use wireless, i wonder if they can't actually come up with a simple fix for the "rotate the stick" problema =/

It also surprises me because in Mario Party: The Top 100 for the 3DS, they brought back Tug O' War with its original control stick spinning gimmick. Why couldn't they work around that on the Wii U? Hell, they could still do that for the Switch if they ever bring back Virtual Console.

I'd argue the music is better, but the board itself is horrendous, governed by luck-based junctions where you have a 1/2 chance of losing a star, and the overrall design is a straight line. It'is imo one of the worst boards in the entire franchise. Edit: it's 1/4 actually, but it remains the same.

Why do some players sometimes get a different colored dice block??? I don't like how in this game, the minigame ends after one person loses, at least they changed that in 2.

In Mario Party 1 there is a small chance you get a special dice block. Red is a Minus Block, you lose coins equal to the amount you throw. Blue is a Plus Block, you get coins equal to the amount you throw. Yellow is a Slow Block, you can only throw 1, 2 or 3. Green is a Speed Block, you can only throw 8, 9 or 10.

Also, the warp block which switches the positions of you with one player, you don't roll. Also, do you HAVE to go through a game with those or do you have to buy them and you have a choice for them to be in the games? I don't have this game.

Turn after turn, when they start, any dice block will appear automatically because that always happens.
