Anime Big Boi it's the same shit with this game. You have 1 special that reaches for the ball and another that hits the ball "slightly" harder. Get your nostalgia goggles off and realize this game hasn't aged well with the gameplay.

Ahh... back when Bowser Jr. used his legs instead of the clown car. Also kinda odd that they have both Koopa/Shy Guy as well as their flying variants instead of just one varient, but maybe I just think that because of Mario Hoops only having the flying versions. Also, why does Koopa have a water element? I get he's a turtle but they aren't associated with the sea in Mario games.

And one more thing, that song is called 'Tournament: Semi-final Match' from "Mario Tennis" (Not this series, but the first one on N64).

Ariana Mediana the ppl who says Aces are better than Power Tennis are more likely the younger new gen who haven't been exposed to Power Tennis. Power Tennis actually had variety and strategy. Aces have little mini animations of jumping high into the air to spike the ball. I don't see how that's cool tbh.

That is where you are wrong, while both games have strategy and Aces has more technical and reflex based aspects power tennis and its power shots did have a fair share of depth for example peach's defensive power shot would lead to a return that would go over an opponent who was highly engaged in net play which made it difficult to return without using a power shot of their own, the difference in each characters shots and knowing when to use them and when to reserve them could be very influential on the outcome of a match.

Tip for returning Bowser Jr's offensive power shot without using your defensive power shot: the real ball is always in the middle and the ones on the left and right are the fakes!

You know, it would have been REALLY interesting if Wiggler's specials changed his attributes for the rest of the game (Game as in Love-15-30-40-Game not the whole match) or when he uses another special. I recall him being a Technical/Technique character. Maybe becoming Angry makes him a Power or Speed character (probably speed) and becoming Flutter makes him Tricky.
