This game will be one of my favorite games of 2022, next to the Pacman world remake and sonic frontiers. Everything from the graphics to the combos looks excellent. I'm glad we can mix up our teams instead of having Mario on the team all the time. Bowser being playable was also a great surprise, and he's not the villain for once. It is awesome seeing bowser working together with Mario and his friends to stop an evil force.

So, it seems for every character we can play as, there’s a Rabbid version of them. Like in the first game we could have Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi in our party (of course not all at once) and they all had a Rabbid version of themselves, so given this information, there’s a chance we could play as Rosalina, and since we can play as Bowser, that also could mean there’s a Rabbid Bowser.

I’m interested in the fact that some of the old characters seem to be completely different gameplay wise, since Mario used to have a standard one shot blaster but now he has two dual pistols, same with rabbid Luigi who used to have the bworb but now has some sort of boomerang like donkey kong has

I actually found that to be a pro. Though I did wish there were roaming enemies to fight as well. Walking through empty levels take the danger out of the area and reduces them into glorified amusement park attractions.

@@epiclight858 The hard mode of co-op battles were my favorite battles in the first game. I did the co-op battles by myself and had a blast. I don’t think online play can work unless you’re on the same team. Because if you’re facing each other, the person with the first turn has too much of an advantage.

This feels like an action RPG that improves what Super Paper Mario could've been...this is going to be interesting, and I say Mario RPGs is getting a bit of a boost with this although hope a more Mario-focused property can show up soon.

Super Paper Mario's only saving grace was its story. If it would have built on Thousand-Year Door - as well as keeping most of the RPG elements, in addition to not being a side-scroller - Super Paper Mario could have rivaled, if not completely surpassed Thousand-Year Door.
