What do the jersey numbers mean for the characters? Like specifically Wario, Waluigi, Bowser & Donkey Kong. Why 00, 0, 55 & 66? Mario 1 Luigi 2 Bowser 66 Peach 10 Rosalina 11 Toad 12 Yoshi 8 Donkey Kong 55 Wario 00 Waluigi 0 Shy Guy 3 Daisy 9 Pauline 7 Diddy Kong 5 Bowser Jr. 6 Birdo 4

I guess the zeroes on Wario and Waluigi's jerseys are meant to reflect the fact that they're frequently the butt of the jokes in most of the Mario sports titles, and as for Bowser and Bowser Jr, well, what number refers to the infamous Number of the Beast? As for most of the other characters tho, I have no idea (and what the heck were they smoking to give Petey's jersey number to Birdo?)

I don't think Luigi is faster than Mario, but I think it's because both Mario and Luigi are the Mario Brothers and I think they share a combination of speed, strength, shooting, technique, and passing in Mario Strikers Battle League.
