In Sonic Forces base Sonic defeated Infinite w/ Phantom Ruby who was stated to be the strongest Sonic villain at the time of Forces. This means he was stronger than Metal Madness, which took THREE Super forms to beat, aka three beings all using the 7 Chaos Emeralds each, which means that base Sonic at the time of Forces already had 21 times unlimited power (7*3 is the amount of unlimited power from three Super forms, as I already said). And that is Sonic in his BASE without even considering the feats in Frontiers! Because in his super form he goes up to 28 times unlimited power since he uses the 7 Chaos Emeralds and don’t even get me STARTED on Super Sonic 2, Cyber Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic.

​@i_like_videogames9517 the choas emeralds do have unlimited power but there is only so much you can take that's why the super emeralds exist they allow sonic to take more power but they aren't cannon and for metal madness the reason why sonic beat him was with the help of tails and knuckles its the same for infinite he got help from classic sonic and the rookie and for frontiers you have good points because sonic dose get stronger over the years and I don't know what super sonic 2 is or Cyper super sonic so I can't say anything about that
