​@@shriekingskeletonBoth the sequels and the prequels have glaring issues, but at the very least the prequels have a consistent, thought out narrative that holds together under scrutiny and isn't, y'know, completely soulless. It was George Lucas's vision for worse, but also for better. The sequels have better direction and budget to portray what they want, but the entire story is an absolute mess that goes nowhere because it was helmed by two people with completely different visions while the corporation over them... Basically didn't seem to care as long as it got churned out of their creation factory. Which is a shame because it had good talent, but I mean... come on, it just didn't go anywhere. There's a reason that it's basically been ditched while all the subsequent media went back to explore the original trilogy/ the prequels/ the time after the Original trilogy but WAY before the prequels, and it's because there's just way more substance. Who knows though? Maybe someday someone will come along to fill out the... Absolute lack of anything there, but since that hasn't happened yet there's no real reason for many people to like it - ESPECIALLY if they were fans of the material it replaced.
