You don’t say what each material medium is. Did u start with gesso? Paint? Is that big Black oil stick? Did you use regular masking tape ?

Yup, sometimes you have to wait until the next day. And it's not charcoal, it's black oil stick. And I always varnish the piece once it's finished ;)
