The thing I respect more about Marco over Gordon is that he doesn't use personal attacks on people to bring them down. I've seen him be very mean and rude, but it's always related to what you're doing wrong. That's good teaching.

When he was young he was actually sociopathic. He would break people, get into their minds. Gordon learnt that from him, the only difference is that Gordon is just a hothead. If Marco, when he was young, didn't like you, you'd be done for.

Big fan of chef Marco Pierre White. Not just for the cooking but as well as his classic personality. Big inspiration for me to being a chef. Anyways, to make a statement for this show, i loved the way 'the boss' was playing with his knife.

theguy imo,each of those chefs have their own charm..but marco and gordon are the epitome of savage and brutal chefs,on the other hand jamie is more of homecooking chef..but i personally prefer gordon and marco because of their brutal honesty in critiquing the chefs.. 😃😃😃😃

why doesnt he choose certain couples all though they are more than qualified? because it's scripted TV and the producers need certain stereotypes, e.g. the small italian chef and the plump, loud scouse matron or the elderly couple with the well dressed hubby. The indian couple didnt make the cut because he already casted one "ethinc" team in the first episode. it is all so blatantly obvious.

and how would you know she's able to feed 25 people in such a very high standard restaurant and a very high standard competition if she's showing Marco some signs of not being able to? MArco has been in industry for long and has mastered the details of standards on foods and chefs producing them. He doesn't need to know the full story of every chef for him to tell if they would be able to make it or not. 30min is all of the time he needs.
