0:20&0:40 are possible comparisons of both csx and ns today , csx having a efficient amount of power and little leaser power or foreign power and norfolk southern having a lot of leased power as of recently.

Almost all the power in is video has been repainted, scrapped or rebuilt if i owned a railroad and buy a company i would keep some of their locomotives in normal shape, color and clean.
Was Conrail still in business when this was filmed?

No, this was a few months after the Conrail split.

I know I am five years late but AC Tower was moved November 26th, 1999. The date was selected by both CSX and Norfolk Southern because they figured traffic would be light enough that they could make the move. Boy were they wrong. CSX and NS ran so many trains on that day to the point where the CSX dispatcher called the NS dispatcher and halted all movement on the Sandusky Districts and CSX Mt. Victory Sub just so they could make the move. After they got it it moved they turned every train they had backed up loose. I got this information from the guy who was in charge of supervising the entire move up at the Marion Station. In his words it was one of the busiest days that station has ever seen in terms of train traffic.
