Everybody’s kinda weird in their own way! Anyone who tells you’re weird ask them what is normal, and they won’t be able to give you a good answer.

Another book I would like to recommend is Making and Manipulating Marionettes by David Currell. Great video, and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

Sorry I misspelled Tony Sinnett

I see you have a nice bandsaw in your shop, I hope you give carving a try CZ Marionettes or Marionettes CZ has vids. Also Tony Sinnet has some vids on the tools and techniques and he also sells plans he too is a youtuber. He also does rod marionettes with a rod that comes up through the head and only need 4 strings to manipulate, this is often a great benefit as some of mine have 14 or more strings and it seems adults are intimidated by them. It is easier to solicit help with simpler marionettes like these. No matter what the character the action he performs always dictates the number of strings.

Thanks for the tip! It's true I do have a ban saw, I will eventually try to get my feet wet with more wood working.

Hi Arlee, thank you so much for your content. Do you have any recommendations for people wanting to know more about ball joints? I'm having a really hard time finding any helpful tutorials online about how to connect the pieces through ball joints. Have they fallen out of fashion?

I have to admit, I don't know what a ball joint is.
