Are you absolutely frustrated with underground and underwater levels? Welp, just use a P-Acorn and fly over them in under 30 seconds!

I find it interesting that Acorn Plains-2 can be skipped with a P-Acorn because there are basically no benefits. You need to beat the level before Nabbit appears, no Star Coins are above ground, and you lose a P-Acorn on an easy level.

The P-Acorn is good, but I would say there are many more fun and helpful powerups.

@@asdunlavey Maybe, I haven't played all mario games. And while I agree that the P-Acorn makes the game less fun (you just skip through the whole level), it is stupidly broken. I prefer to play through the level, even if it's difficult, instead of beating the level by simply flying over it. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I was writing this comment. Did I only take how OP it is into account? Or did I actually think that it's fun to use it? I don't remember, but oh well.

Great question. No it just turns to a regular Acorn that you cannot fly unlimitedly but you can fly

Nah he(or she) saved the game once before he used it each time so after he(or she) recorded it, could return to title screen and use it for the next level.

It is deliberate. They intentionnaly put walkable ground there. While in NSMBW, there was no way to go above these.

this isn't poor level design. the screen only changes once you have a p-acorn. if you don't, you can't skip it.
