I started watching the series last week. I’ve been stuck at Plat 1 for two weeks. I work two full time jobs so I only can play on the weekends (for a total of 8-10 hours) so grinding up in ranks is rough. Your first 3 vids have been awesome and really helped me with having a solid foundation and game plan! I’ve managed to get to Plat 2 this past weekend! I’m having soooo much more fun now that I have the basics down!! Looking forward to this video and will report back when I eventually get to Diamond!!! Well after a couple months I’m diamond in large to this guide. The real time explanation/breakdown and situation recognition is 10x more helpful than watching someone in training mode. Awaiting diamond to masters! Thank you!

This is an amazing series, and I REALLY appreciate the casual but thorough nature of the videos. This took me from stuck in bronze with other characters to platinum with Marisa. Loving these guides, by far the best instructional sf6 content I have found as a new player. Narrowing down the early options really helped. I also really appreciate that you call out specific options that are difficult to execute but worth drilling into muscle memory (eg. drive rush oki, back-heavy punch into superman etc...) it can be hard as a new player to know what is worth spending the time to practice, especially when you have limited free time. In terms of production my only feedback is that your audio (game and voice) is very quiet compared to others so I end up having to turn up the volume, not a major issue but felt like sharing since you asked for feedback :) Looking forward to your next videos.

Nice Guide, I think the only thing that could have been added is the initial f.mP punish counter combo. it does link with st.lk into dima. This is useful because certain moves that can be whiff punish will leave you at a range where st.lp will whiff and st.lk won't. But that's just some details, great work overall

Thanks for the guide! Could you explain why your charged back heavy punch knocks Ryu away after the counter DI at 42:34? I've noticed that happens to me a lot and it's frustrating because I'm missing out on big punishes. I figure it has something to do with timing but I'm not sure.

When you crumple someone with drive impact the crumple state lasts for 21 frames. After this point they go into an airborne state and any normal hitting them will send them flying. Charged back heavy punch takes 20 frames to fully charge and land. Fortunately the game holds your input so if you press and hold back heavy punch after the "zoom" of the drive impact ends the game will store that input and give you a back heavy on the first possible frame. I just messed it up there was a bit delayed.

Im currently peaking mid plat 5. Im having big trouble with people playing very defensively, not really throwing out many buttons, and I feel like I get outranged pretty bad and whiff punished. Idk why its so hard for me to play neutral w her, whiff punishing them, poking etc, she s just so slow
