Can you go into details of what settings you have this monitor at? I recently got it and all the colors just look really dull to me. I'm also having trouble changing the lights on the back. What app do you use? I tried downloading RGB Lightsense and it said the monitor is not supported.

Sure! The settings I used was hdr & turned off warm tones. It made it really vibrant for me! The app for this is Acer Display Widget where you can fully customize the settings much more effectively than on the button. I wish they were more obvious about the app but I hope this helps!

how do you make it so the screen is fit to screen without stretching? i am using a dell laptop and have tried to adjust the display settings to aspect but then i see two black sort of borders on the sides of my screen and when i use the buttons on the monitor to adjust to full it stretches everything out thx!

Hi! To get the screen to fit without stretching on the Acer Nitro xz306c, try these steps: 1. First, make sure the resolution on your Dell laptop matches the monitor’s native resolution, which is 2560x1080. You can adjust this in your Display Settings on the laptop. 2. In the monitor’s menu, look for the “Aspect Ratio” setting and set it to “Original” or “1:1” - this should keep the image from stretching. 3. If you’re using Intel or NVIDIA graphics, go into the graphics control panel. There should be a scaling option in the display settings - try setting it to “Maintain Aspect Ratio” or “Scale Full-Screen.” 4. Also, sometimes switching between HDMI and DisplayPort can make a difference with scaling. If you’re using one, try the other if you can. Let me know if that helps or if it didn’t fix it!

Hi! Yes it is. The monitor comes with 4 screws that will allow you to use a vesa mount. If you accidentally threw them out you can reach out to Acer customer support to get a new set! ☺️

Hi! From my experience with my 9 yr old IPS monitor, which lacked color compared to the new VA panel, if you're prioritize gaming performance, color accuracy, or work with graphics, IPS panels are generally the better choice because of their better color reproduction + faster response times. But if you're planning to mainly watch movies, game in the dark, or want a balance between performance x price, VA panels are a great option bc of the deeper blacks and higher contrast.

I have it buddy! You require a HDMI 2.0 cable to get full 200hz. The in-box cable is HDMI 1.4. So, that'll cap the refresh rate to 180hz.
