Marital rape should be criminalized, yes. But in all practical purpose, it is never possible to prove if an intercourse between the couple was consensual or non-consensual. Will you put a camera in the room? Or will you sign stamp paper before each intercourse. It is technically impossible to prove that the intercourse was consensual. So unless and until a logical abd reliable method is there to deduce the authenticity of an allegation, this law can never come into existence. Bcoz in today's day and age where there's so much matrimonial tension, just the word of a wife can't be considered as a substantial proof to proceed in such a case.

​@@Modric-nk9oq tu har jagah ye comment kyu spam kar rha? that is why we have whole system of judiciary. isme rough or gentle ki baat nahi h, agar false allegations ki baat kr rhe ho to anyone can do that. but we have a judicial system which looks into cases aise hi saza nahi ho jaati koi.

@@ascetic77 yes brother u r right about that "for this (proving who is guilty) we have whole judicial system" but it is also true that this system will hear your case for average 10 to 20 years and you (male) will be in jail for whole time( in most cases) while u were in under trial and in the end they found that you were innocent. 😮‍💨

@@Modric-nk9oq not in all cases, in some you get bail within 15-20 days, infact many rpaists are freely roaming on bail. did you hear that mumbai bastian case? ladke ke paas paisa tha aur power, bas 10 din jail me rha, ab case ghista rhe vo free h. obviously power wins. and victims lose. i feek sorry for false allegations victims too, but ek humesha sirf laws sirf ladko ke hisab se kyu bante hain? laws humesha aise kyu bante hain ki ladko ko dikkat naa ho, kya mardo ke justice ke lie aurten zulm sehti rhe? again i repeat i feel very sorry and sad for men who are victim or false allegations. but they are very less compared to no of rpaes. har baat me ladko ke paas bas yhi ek justification hota h, tum marital rape jhelo vrna koi false allegations krega. arre false allegations sirf rpae ke thodi na hote hain? vo to property/accidents/family disputes aisi cheezon ke bhi hote h. and yes the long years of wait in cases, that is what we have to improve, the system , investigative agencies, police and judges especially action against bribery. iss sab ke against aawaz uthao, to zyada acha hoga humare desh ke liye.
