Interesting information and discussion. It sounds like there are a whole set of engineering challenges but interesting to hear how they are tackled. I came here after recently hearing former President Trump mentioning maritime corrosion on a Fox News interview and naming it as an argument against offshore wind farms. 16:47 seems to touch on that (trade off in costs, operating life and safety issues).
