It is really pityful that we are reduced to learning our own history from the internet, and not from the Educational system. Other countries falsity their history to make them look great. In India we do the opposite. We hide our great historical past and culture and teach false puny lies to down rate our ancestors. This is a tragedy indeed!!!😭

I am an Indology student & the conventional teaching of the teachers never satisfied me that our culture was a backward in technology & borrowed our ancient people each & every part of technology existing at that time in Sanatan culture. I liked this lecture and got an inspiration to study our culture.Please guide me how to study this aspect of our culture & which books to be referred for a beginner. There is a discussion here about the invention of wheels and chariots by some viewers. Here is my explanation: The general archeological explanation is that civilization prospered with the invention of the wheel and fire. This is completely wrong for the following reasons. 1) Show me a square Tree. You will not find it. But you will see that the circle is natural. All tree trunks are circular. Drawing a circle does not need to be taught even to a two-year-old. Give a pen and paper to a two-year-old and he/she will doodle circular patterns. Ask him to draw a straight line and it is impossible till he learns to use a straight edge in the school. So creating a wheel is as simple as felling a tree and using the trunk. so What progressed the civilization is to have the ability to work in a straight line and creating a square. If civilization that vanished 7000 years ago or more created such nice cities with perfect town planning did not know about the wheel is naive. What archeologists do not tell you about is that they are hiding in plain sight toys with wheels which they found during the excavation of Indus valley civilization. You can see them in the national museum in New Delhi. 2) Fire is a natural phenomenon as well. One lightning in the dense forest and you have a fire. You have active volcanoes with fire. Fire is natural and humans used it. When archeologists are saying that the invention of fire progressed the civilization then they are pulling wool over your eyes. What progressed civilization is the creation of a boat. Ability to float and carry cargo and people on waters. The Ability to navigate. As I told you in the last part of my presentation, there are many questions that need to be asked, ask the right question.

Wow... I am just speechless - we have started thinking from a different perspective - I think this will help us to answer many unanswered questions - we are still circling around the Pyramid creation but ignoring that advance mathematics could exist earlier than the Pyramid's time (in India). Kings of Egypt came to know about it and just for entering into the history as a great king put the Indian mathematics into use; probably Indian mathematicians were hired to do the job (who knows the reality). Even today we build big statues for no reason (Ex. Statue of Unity, Eifel Tower, Statue of Liberty). They still have a dispute between the dates of Pyramid and Sphinx - they still can't explain everything in a proper chronological order. I really admire your work.

Thank you for presenting this educational video related to the antiquity of Indian (Hindu) civilization. The title has emphasis on MARITIME, but very little is said about maritime. For more on that topic, one may refer to the book “India’s Contribution to World Thought and Civilization". On internet there are videos (KZbin) by Nilesh Oak showing time-line of Indian civilization using specific astronomy evidence data. The fact star Vega (Brahmarshi or Abhijit) was a pole star during 12000 BCE is recorded in the epic Valmiki Ramayana. In fact, this reference was one of the four pivotal references that led Oak (2014) to define 12209 BCE as the year of Rama-Ravana yuddha. What this demonstrates is that the astronomy text of Sūrya-siddhānta and its updates were not taking place in isolation but were very much part of the integrated tradition of Indic civilization. Oak (2018) has demonstrated that unique features of astronomy epochs were employed to time stamp historical events. Other videos by Praveen Mohan also support some of the facts presented in this talk. I think that there was some link or connection between Aztec/Mayan and Hindu civilization. Following are the reasons on which I base my theory: 1. Some 35years back I had read in an essay that people who settled in Mexico had sailed from far East. 2. Around 1977 I had seen a figure in an article in Scientific American depicting Mayan figure which very much looked like Flying Hanuman(from Ramayana story) with a hill in his hand. 3. If one looks into the worship of female God, there is lots of similarity in South American and Indian mythology. 4. In the story of Mahabharata there is mention of heroes going to under world, also called PATALA and getting married. 5. There is similarity in celebrating/worshiping deads. 6. If one looks at the temple architect of South India and that of Aztec, there are lots of similarities. I understand what all these are circumspect points. But more research is needed to investigate the subjects. Indians were also very skilled ship builders and navigators. There are forces that denies Indian(Sanatan Dharma) influence on world map and we have to counter this with knowledge and skill.

Excellent findings of Dr Bhagirath Joshi. We could know many new things on Maya civilization. The ancient Maritime route, he try to cover is SAPTA SINDHU MIGRATION ROUTE NO 3 (America & Latin America) with some correlation with route No 1 (West of Sindhu- Saraswati Civilization). The SAPTA SINDHU MARITIME MIGRATION ROUTE NO 3 actually stemmed from Route No 2 i.e middle of Coastal route from Arabian sea, Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal via Ganga, Brahmaputra, Barak, Gomti etc .... to Indonesia, Bali Java, Sumatra, Cambodia etc. from where the Route No 3 to Latin American Maya Civilization originates. Thanks and gratitude to Bhagirath Joshi for taking up voluntarily such pain staking exercise. In North East India, various groups from South East Asia, China etc. have made their entry in various states not far away time, say 500 years, 1000 years or hardly 2000 years back. But with the help of British imperialistic rule and Christian Missionaries for about 100 years in the region, they had managed to erase all histories of maritime people, mostly Ancestral South Indian (ASI) and Ancestral North Indian (ANI) of linguistic Indo-European Bengali speakers, who are 100% pure Indian of Sindhu- Saraswati Civilization. Those outsiders are now claiming them as aboriginal people (locally designate them as Khilonjia). With the tacit help of patronizing Hindi for the Govt of India, they could impose "Inner line Permit" system. This has made "Indian as foreigners" in India itself. Ghototkoch, as per Jha, is being shown to be from Assam, not Gujarat. Maa Kamakhya (Goddess Kali) is shown to be protected by local Tribal like Khasi, Garo, Tiwa, Bodo and not by people of Ancestral South/ North Indian of Sindhu/ Saraswati Civilization. The south Indian stone inscription over the bank of the River Gomti, Tripura is being attributed to local later on settled Jamatia or Tripuri tribes. Such wrong projection of history, connected with SAPTA SINDHU ROUTE NO 2 DESERVE ALL ATTENTION AND PRIORITY TO TWART THE HOSTILE CLAIMS OF PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN NORTH EAST INDIA. This deserve urgent attention to preserve Indian integrity and soil.

@Sanjay Gurung Aryan European gene... What's Aryan, we never had any caste by name Aryan nor we have now caste called Aryan. Aryan is a hypothetical thing with no substantial Evidence. Even, the meaning of word Aryan is Learned, noble and wise which are characteristics found in humans who choose to develop it. The gene study, which you refer can have the other scenario too, migration of men from India to Central Asia to Europe as, it is recorded, Hindus were trading with all contemporary civilization, big or small, from. Ocean to land, hindus traded witt them all. Even, if we take the present day, only people who have money, specialised skills, knowledge, and traders travel offshore. In ancient times, too, such migration have only happened, unless, they are nomads, who do not wish to settle down anywhere. Even the present nomadic tribes of Asia, Africa shows this traits. Ancient traders, scholars, warriors class from Hindustan have migrated to Central Asia and Near East and that's what is in the Genetic study of Indo-European mean. This is as per Out of India theory.

@arv er has there been any comprehensive study about similarities between Hindu civilization and Ameicas. The science is always ever changing, science is not fixed, the moment the scientists are able to comprehend and understand something it becomes scientific. We now know Entire South America had advanced and was thriving with multiple civilization. History is also proof of how, systematically, the Christian kings and conquers destroyed, their temples, place of worship, scriptures, and how in millions the natives were massacred, the greatest genocide in recorded human history, how they were made slaves and forcefully converted the pagans of Americas, all in name of Jesus and place in heaven for doing so, with complete authority and blessing of Catholic Church, priests. The destruction of native pagan culture, language, civilization, knowledge, science, scriptures, genocide was seen as act of God, for God- Christan God. when the study of similarities between these two civilization are done by people, scientists who have knowledge and understanding about both the cultures, only then we get to know the true picture. As of now, we have scientists specialized in Egyptology, Indology , rest specialized in particular fields only, who then try to use help of other specialist of that area of study or try to find information, knowledge available to them to correlate with other civilization. Again, any Discovery or study is effected by the attitude of scientists towards that culture or civilization, like we learnt all these years about Central Asians moving to India, until few years back, with too much of scientific discoveries, studies which were contrary to it and Out of India, branch gained prominence.

The area off the west bank of the Tiber River that comprises the Vatican was once a marshy region known as Ager Vaticanus. ... During the early years of the Roman Empire, it became an administrative region populated by expensive villas, as well as a circus built in the gardens of Emperor Caligula's mother. Sir, it is high time you start believing these new findings because the earlier history books were written based on half-knowledge and assumptions. The new evidences and logic are fitting more into the chronology as well as the local knowledge. You can't ignore the local knowledge and stories as those get propagated through generations. This video, doesn't do enough to dwell upon a maritime legacy of the time. A singular amount of time is spent in drawing connections with the Mayan civilization and of looking at in through a Sanatan Dharma lens. While interesting in itself , it does not make us any wiser about how such journeys were undertaken, what boats were built of or where, exploration of East Asia etc.

V. Ganapati Sthapati the famous vaastu scholar of Tamil Nadu went to Mexico. After measuring buildings and investigating artefacts he concluded that the mayan civilization had the knowledge of vaastu shastra. The very name Maya comes from the original teacher of vaastu Brahmarishi Mayan, also known as Mamuni Mayan and Vishvakarma.

Been long time watcher. Did not expect such low quality content on this channel. The person is at best an enthusiast sharing conjectures not facts or scholarly research. For instance, anyone having slightest idea regarding wheels and chariots would not place those Greek pots with chariots painted on it at 3000 BCE, and many more such things.
@HG-wu7bq

@Rationale and Logic reading about archaeology and history of wheels and chariots would answer that.

@@HG-wu7bq I agree. He is an enthusiast. At the same time, we need to stop playing a game with their (western) and their only rules. How much can they prove us based on our Yogic methods/standards? Our yogic science is many thousands of years old. How old is their science? Funny part is that they are reverting to ours when they are stuck; and never mind that their starting points are mostly taken from us and they never admit to them. I do agree that we have to do this systematically and Indian government also need to get involved in this; but at least this kind of approach is making people aware about the problem we have with western standards. We need to start challenging their processes, requirements and standards also, not just comply to them! Just because it's coming from Harvard, it's written in gold letters. I have problem with that mentality too! I know how much lies they spread, systematically. Just because it's done or make believe done systematically, does not make it true! Be aware of that!!! Eastern culture take pride in referring to the source or we respect the source; while western culture is good at systematically obliterating the source at long term or retransmitting as their own. We need to start challenging that culture or mentality. As long as we fall for it, they continue doing it. As they don’t accept our methods, we need to stop accepting all their bullshits also. Challenge them that this is not yours, show me the true source. It was done before. Not everything starts from Greek or Latin!!!

@@acpatel9491 I don't contest that mate. My point being giving erroneous reference / claims regarding things which are supposed to be in public domain (Greek pottery with chariots in this case), makes the entire argument of the presenter pointless to some people.

@thrinethran2885 4 жыл бұрын
@@HG-wu7bq Agree that the presentation could have been better organized and more logical. But are you convinced that the Rig Vedic references to chariots could not have been older than 3000 BCE. Do you subscribe to the second millennium composition of those parts and an even later date for the Mahabharata, because Vyasa has been described as a contemporary and author of the Itihas and simultaneously as the (last) compiler of the Vedas?

There is archaeological evidence that Indians from Andhra Pradesh - East Godavari district- Munganda village, lived and traded in "Jerusalem, Israel" in 1500 BC, speaking the same Telugu dialect as my village "Merchant class" spoke. When I was young before I settled in Pittsburgh PA (Their accent is different from the Barhamin accent). Eg. "Nanu aadini Toosa mannanu" ( I asked "him" to weigh! In a court case for selling copper ingot with wrong weights. The defendant is saying that he didn't do the wrong himself! The pronunciation didn't change in 3500 yrs. Neither the wrong weights! Nor play innocent.) The important thing to observe is that the ending of each word is a Vowel, like in the Roman language. Eg. A, E, I, O, U. ( I invite, archaeological discussion. incast inc@gmail.com)

As i feel and said to someone also in friend circle, the story of Atlantis, may be actually story of Dwarka only. Most important point which i noticed in many of the Ancient Alien episode(the ancient theorist talk properly) & other parts, the Christianity is full of negative things. So whenever Western scholar says about any new research or findings, they talk/present it in negative manner only. But the way they say it, we feel they are talking very positively about it, which actually wrong. So, is with Islam too. Now whole World is getting the taste of India, ie: Sanatana Dharma & its people reached every corner of world.

This was a real insight. Unfortunately we have been influenced by a Western ideology of history, when the colonisers at the time believed the world was only as old as 2500BC. This complex of the West will continue until we all regain the strength of the economy we had in the past. This will happen shortly as the West has nothing left to exploit.
