Very important…if you re-wire the nemesis to 3s Lipo, you MUST use a brand name Omron switch (21amp) on the rev trigger or larger 3s packs will burn out the switch if you use Tezuo. I smoked a Tezuo using my 2200 mah 60c proton pack battery. I heard about Luke’s mod guide saying to use a brand name Omron and it worked perfectly.

Oh interested, and awesome to know. I generally don’t need my rival on lipo, I wish I’d known would have shouted that warning louder (you may have told me this before ha)

This is a good place to start, easy wiring. Do what I did early on, tell yourself no thrifting for a couple weeks and just buy a decent iron and some supplies haha

I don’t know if you’d be interested but I’d like to see you make a more in-depth mod guide for the Boomdozer. I know you’ve made one before but I didn’t feel like it showed enough detail of how to mod it. I’ve been having mine since it first came out but was never able to mod it. Something simple like removing the front barrel shroud and putting a k25 spring over the original would be nice to see.

It didn’t show much detail because I didn’t do much ha. I should revisit with a spring upgrade :)

New to your channel. I like what I’ve seen so far! I really like the fact that your just across the bay in NB. I’m wondering though, do you know how I could get a pump grip for my Hades? Also, my son has a Khaos blaster. I might try this mod on his blaster to eliminate the need for the batteries!

@@maritimefoam Not after any one in particular. Recommendations? It would be nice to get one from Canada though. One more thing. I have a Rival Zeus blaster & I’m wondering if it can be modified in a similar way?

Would it be better to use a 7.2v lipo or nimh instead of a 9.6v to avoid burning out the motor?

9.6 won’t burn out that motor :)

Would like to replace the 6 'D' batteries with a rechargeable battery pack for a Nerf Mastodon. Would making this d.i.y. 9.6v batt pk work w/o redoing any of the internal wirings in the Mastodon? Don't want to torch or touch any of the innards but can if need be. Any aid, link(s), suggestions, or cautions would be appreciated.

You could wired right to the positive and negative terminals in the battery tray like I did. It would improve it for sure.
