Salvia LITERALLY, no exaggeration whatsoever, turned me into a goddamn lawnchair. A lawnchair sitting by a lake. Unable to move, scream, or do anything except think, "Goddamn, I'm a lawnchair! Help!" It only lasted about 30 seconds, but that was long enough, by God.

I've tried salvia a lot of times but never got much of anything. Once I had the vague impression that I was at a police station, another that I was ascending a staircase. During both I was also very clearly aware that I was at home and not in either of those situation. Beyond those two times the only things I've expereinced on it is feeling off, occasional bouts of mild paranoia, and having my ability to balance on two legs get completely fucked, like downing an entire bottle of booze fucked. Then again, I seem to have a very reduced susceptibility to hallucinogens. Hawaiian baby woodrose, felt mildly off but nothing else any time I've tried it no matter how high the dose. Ayahuasca, absolutely horrible drink, eyes dilated to fuck, very mild closed eye visuals, felt really off, fair bit of paranoia. Only tried it once because there's so much prep and it is so horrible to drink, all for basically nothing. Peyote did absolutely nothing at all, didn't even make me feel off. Taste isn't that bad though, like a very bitter leafy green vegetable. LSD felt nice. Really, really, really nice. Like the best cup of coffee in the universe, god's own cup of coffee. Very limited open eye visuals, limited to the grass moving in waves like the ocean and intentionally psychedelic pictures wiggling about. No closed eye visuals. Easy to have my train of thought wander off into the weeds, though still possible to reign in. The blue sky and clouds were beyond gorgeous. Nothing funky about the sky, just very pretty. Very hard to get a hold of and very expensive though, only gotten my hands on it twice. I am very aware that this is not what 99% of people experience on LSD. The walls didn't breathe and the trees didn't even dance for me, much less having my entire reality transform. Felt very, very nice though, and very relaxing. A bit like a draught from the fountain of youth, as my mind hasn't been that prone to fanciful wandering trains of thought since I was a little kid.

@@DefaultFlame it sounds like you had low doses of all of them. Based on your description of LSD you didn't have enough, it does make you feed speedy like a stimulant.
@DefaultFlameАй бұрын
@@jamarjames9501 Trust me, I took heavy doses of most of them in an effort to get some sort of open eye visuals going. I'm the "research to death before trying" type. Typical dosage, threshold dosage per kg, LD50 per kg, dozens and dozens of trip reports read before I even consider trying something so I know what to expect, weighting everything, etc, etc. The LSD I cannot of course be sure of the dose, since it varies a lot and the only way to know is to send it off to a lab for testing, but for the salvia, Hawaiian baby woodrose, and ayahuasca I dosed high. When it comes to the salvia and Hawaiian baby woodrose I went really, really high. I took enough Hawaiian baby woodrose that I started getting overdose signs. Crunchy, stiff joints specifically. (Arthritis due to buildup of urea crystals in joints is a risk with high doses.) And I smoked so very much of both dried and extract forms of salvia in an effort to get anything like what people claimed. I made enough ayahuasca for two and drank almost all of it myself, and I didn't vomited up any of it so I got every scrap of it in my system. I felt very fucked up, to the point of mild panic, but only got mild closed eye visuals. The peyote of course I cannot know the exact potency, but I ate something like 8 1-inch buttons in one sitting, and I didn't even feel slightly off. (I say "something like 8" because it was over a decade ago and I'm unsure of exactly how many it was, but 8 is my best guess.) One of the reasons I like LSD so, so, so much is that it actually worked. It absolutely did not make me feel speedy. I've tried amphetamine plenty of times and it was nothing like that. It was closer to MDMA than amphetamine actually, if nowhere as intense or physical as MDMA and with none of the empathogenic effects. Just really, really pleasant. I'm still pissed at the time one time I bought "LSD" (my third time) and it was some other shit. DOB is my best guess based on the effects I felt. Possibly DOI or DOC, but my money is on it being DOB. Remember kids, if it's bitter it's a spitter.

I once met up with a girl, and did salvia bong rips. I went first and it didn't really do anything. It was a big disappointment, so this girl and I started a project to build a wooden canoe. We worked all day and night for a couple days and it turned out so beautiful. After appreciating our work, we went to have a nap on a blanket in the yard. When I woke up, the canoe was gone! I asked the girl what she did with the canoe we built, and she says "What are you talking about? You hit the bong and fell over on the blanket and then sat up like five min. later.". I met a 40 some-odd year old man in rehab that was addicted to air duster. He used to be an electrical engineer, college degree, professional, smart. But by this point he used duster so often and for so long that he had literal holes in his brain. However, I am still extremely smart, with some issues remembering names, but none of the hard brain damage I guess most who do this get. He was cooking fish, but when he went to plate it up his hands turned into fins and he dropped the pan. Then when he looked down his legs were a fish tail and his feet were fins too. He turned into a fish. Then someone picked him up and put him in a pan to cook him. Apparently he ran around screaming; “Put me out! Put me out!” before he snapped out of it. The things I’ve seen meth heads do in my city are sad, disgusting, and I don’t even think I could say them here Literally 2 days ago an addict tried to attack my brother because he told them to stop vandalizing a car, which it wasn’t even normal vandalism. It was a super car and they were on top of the hood doing NSFW things to it….. yeah.. He yelled for them to stop and then she (the methhead) started screaming and chasing him. And as crazy as it sounds, I wasn’t surprised when he told me, it’s damn near normal meth head behavior. It’s so sad I’m watching the city I grew up in slowly go to shit because of meth. And believe me you can’t reason with a meth addict, it destroys their brain and empathy. Then you just have an angry meth head yelling at you not to tell them how to live their life, the only solution is to raise your kids right and hope future generations leave it in the past. But when I went to school a few years back, they were literally trying to make weed sound as bad as meth. Failures like that makes kids not trust or care about what their teachers said, so they try it all. They get addicted, and it just goes on and on! Please be honest with your children

@2:09 Nurse in psychiatry here. The time dilation provoked by drugs that increase dopamine works similarly to the process of aberrant salience in patients suffering from psychosis. Essentially, salience refers to how your brain assigns importance to certain stimuli, and it uses dopamine to do this. It's how your brain signals, 'This stimulus is important, pay attention to it.' When there's an excess of dopamine, you become hypervigilant because everything around you suddenly seems really important to perceive, leading to what we call 'aberrant salience.' This is why time appears to slow down - you're perceiving much more than you normally would per second.

As I closed my eyes, I saw a type of psychedelic spyglass type thing, and heard jingling all around me as I blacked out and fell into some beanbags. The second way, along with the trippy visuals, was I felt a kind of sphereoid shield with my head in the center of it, hearing a bunch of pings and pops as if someone was throwing rocks at my head shield. I did this 3-4 times. The last time was at my friend's house, and I woke up next to his washing machine (which I was nowhere near when I began) and I had a crazy gash on my elbow. I must have walked downstairs unconsciously and fell down. My memory in general seems to have gotten worse since, but that may be just placebo. Haven't done it since.

Ok, actual pharmacist here (earned my PharmD doctorate at Wingate University). A lot of what's in these videos is a bit hyperbolic, it borders on mild-propaganda, because there *_are_* proper medical uses for plenty of 'drugs of abuse', such as opioids, cannabinoids/weed, traditional psychedelics like LSD, and especially MDMA/Molly/Ecstasy. Other 'drugs' like Ketamine, Cocaine and actual Methamphetamine are already medically prescribed and used (no, I don't mean Adderall either, real Meth, branded as Desoxyn, though it's pretty rarely RXd nowadays). Duster contains Difluroethane, basically a derivative of freon, which exerts it's effects via gabanergic and glutaminergic interactions. Yes, the oxygen deprivation or hypoxia can do brain damage, but not quite as terribly or quickly as you might expect. It's definitely dangerous and has killed people, but you're probably basically fine if you never abuse it again. Especially if you were young, like in your teenage years. Even if you *_did_* cause a tiny bit of minor brain damage, it CAN and WILL heal, it'll just take about a decade (at your age, significantly slower the older you get). As for the guy who mentioned "brain cells popping"? No, that isn't how that works and wouldn't produce a sound, they die off from loss of oxygen supply or exicitotoxicity of the Difluroethane, basically oxidative stress (think of it like them rusting). Long story short, you're fine, most people experiment a bit in their teens, it's normal and you'll be perfectly ok, just avoid ever getting involved in inhalants again, unless they're actually being given medically (like Nitrous Oxide at a dentist or anesthetic gases for sugery).

11:00 About 5-meo-DMT, it doesn't really last 2 hours, more like 15-30 minutes like regular DMT, but the trip is more intense like you described and less visually appealing, so no crazy colors or patterns, just shades of white and black (In my experience). It might last 2 hours through insuffulation of pure 5-meo-DMT though, smoked is more like 30 min. It tends to be more direct and merciless, so to speak. Normal DMT is like your mother scolding you because you did something bad, but then right after she gives you a big old hug and tells you she loves you. 5-MEO-DMT is like that angry grandmother/father scolding you telling you to seriously get your shit together then just gives you some beans to eat later. More realistic, more "aligned to god", still loving but wants to make sure he got that point across.

The 5-meo-dmt section was filled with disinfo, honestly. It's hardly obscure, for a start... I was impressed by the first couple entries cus i actually hadnt heard of them despite being a "drug geek" - But everyone knows about toad venom getting people high (even if some mistakenly think you can get high just by licking the toads lol) - Also, dude in the video says it's not found in a plant like DMT, but that's not true. While it is in toad venom, it's also in a bunch of random plants and animals. Reed Canary Grass, a common plant in north america contains it for instance. Finally, as you say, he's way off in terms of duration - the two hours is more for if it's taken orally or nasally. Dude really dropped the ball on this entry.

Hijacking this comment to add stuff for a part 2 for "Trust Me Bro", from one of the original members of the first research chemical forum and an avid psychonaut: 1. DiPT(the most novel tryptamine that exists) 2. 25I - NBOMe(extremely potent mescaline analogue) 3. Methoxetamine(crazy awesome, and completely unavailable anymore unfortunately) 4. Mephedrone(similar to cocaine but much much much stronger) 5. Datura(the worst drug trip)

I'm not sure, i think it's a great effort, but most of the stuff he's saying is just from wikipedia and he conflates a lot of statistics and doesn't cite sources. It's great to use wikipedia for sources, but it seems like he didn't really look at the sources or understand the context of what the wikipedia article was saying. And I have no idea where he got the statistic that pyros were both 20x more addictive than crack, and then later says that they're literally 50x more addictive than crack.

@@coloneljacobs2217Agreed. it's just basic descriptions. A lot is also exaggerated and misleading, and some things are just plain false. these also aren't unknown or necessarily obscure. while a couple aren't well documented, the average drug nerd has definitely heard of all these

Salv 60x resin mixed with a potent hit of psilocybin used to be called the dream killer. It was so bad that people would take a hit and when the trip was over they couldn't get restful sleep. Turns out it interrupted the natural human dream cycle to such an extent that their brain wouldn't trigger the process needed to dream. Wild...

@@mainsource8030 similar to the creepy pasta but different. I believe if my memory is correct it simply interrupts the Beta wave section of sleep patterns, no dreams just black outs from exhaustion. Usually I don't like them at all, but every rare occasion one is an ok or even nice dream, but for the most part, that's what I absolutely miss the most about staying stoned-no dreams and great sleep. I really wish they made a safe medication to make you stop dreaming, mine aren't good experiences and I'd rather just not have them....

As a toad owner who refuses to touch anything stronger than alcohol: Toad poison is specifically a mammal deterrent, and extracting it hurts or (most often) kills the toad. You’re a lot more likely to get sick than high even if you get the right species. If you’re going to get that species of toad, get them for their gregarious personalities and charming noble look. Don’t torture an animal for a high. By definition, you CANNOT both have a well-treated toad and extract its poison, because the act of extracting the poison is cruel.

When I was 18 someone told me about duster and I told others as well as a joke/warning. One friend started huffing it a lot to the point of having a seizer and it was so terrifying we tried to stop them but they'd grab the can and run off and huff as much as possible. When we got the can away from them they'd get physically violent. So my friend calls the police to stop their rampage but when the police arrive their STILL huffing. They even pulled out their pocket knife and pointed it to the officers. When they were removed from my home their lips were frost bitten and they remember the events VERY differently than what actually transpired. We're not friends anymore. I feel really guilty for mentioning it to them and refuse to touch the stuff ever again. Please, no matter what you're going through, no matter how good it feels to damage yourself, don't. It's traumatic for everyone involved and ruins lives. Don't do it, man.
