Yess that's what i was looking for! I made lemon curd meringue roll amd i made too much of a curd. And a bit too runny. Will use it for this recipe and instead of the syrup, will use lemon juice with limoncello ❤

What size dish did you use for this? I did check the description box and the comments. Someone else asked too but you never replied. If you don’t like eggs’ taste, this recipe is not for you😅

U won't taste eggs with lemon for SURE! 😂 And real Tiramisu cream is with (raw) eggs. Not with way (over)whipped cream for sure. But if you dont like classic lemon curd with eggs, you can always go with vegan version. Instead of eggs just put the corn starch.

Even with that many egg yolks? The lemon curd recipe I use calls for 4 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs but I omit one of the yolks because it was too eggy tasting. You'd think the lemon would cut through that egg taste but it doesn't. I'm going to compare the rest of her lemon curd ingredients to see how close it is to mine. I just want to make sure that curd is going to stay put without having that eggy taste, lol...

@@tammiemartinez6485 yes I put all those egg yolks. For lemon or orange curd you can use vegan version. I use it very often. Instead of eggs I simply use corn starch. There are tones of recipes with corn starch. It won't be so rich in texture but trust me - you won't get that eggy taste. However, when I do a lemon curd with eggs I always put a lot of lemon zest (or orange), way more than in recipes so it 'kills' that eggy taste. I put it also a lot in vegan version too. Good luck!

Everything is fine except cream for tiramisu. This is deffo not the right cream. It goes with eggs and not with overwhiped cream

It’s done for a good reason, the whipped cream makes the mixture lighter by adding air. The only thing that should not be done is when mixing the two you use a spatula and gently fold it so that air does not get pushed out.

@@ziggymorris8760 No it's not for a simple reason - it doesnt make tiramisu. You need fine, rich and silky cream. And experienced person knows how to make 'airy' cream with mascarpone and eggs. Done it 10000 times. During summer (when I avoid raw eggs) I tried with whipped cream as a sub and no no - it is nice but it aint tiramisu. Ladyfingers doesnt need that kind of cream. It makes it cheap and poor.
