Thanks to your beautiful bass tones I always find loose change in places I didn't know I had it.

If you buy the head cover/bag you can leave it on, (I do and never any problems as it has fan vents) the rear access flap has velcro on it so you just flip the front and rear flaps under the head and it sticks to the cabinet allowing you to lean your cab back without the head moving.

Why do so many bass gear reviews have the reviewers showing off their slap playing and twiddling on the top strings. I'm a bass player. I play mostly the bottom strings and want to know how amps sound on the low end.

The thinking might be 'I'm playing by myself; I need to do more to fill in'. Playing over a backing track would do that and show better what it's like with a band.

Seems like a lot of distortion happening in the jams. Wish we could have gotten some more focus in the Millerizer since Marcus' slap tone is legendary. 30 odd seconds certainly wasn't enough
@Stratisfied225 жыл бұрын
The head is pretty good but I would strongly recommend a cabinet with a tweeter regardless of what these guys say. This amp is dark and you have to turn the old school off and millerizer all the way up to brighten it up enough to make it sound clear. Paired my little marcus 250 with two Ampeg svt210av cabs and it sounds really nice but somewhat lacking in the highs. Then I hooked it up to a Phil Jones Cab 27 and the amp came to life like you wouldn't believe, it's like a mini hifi monster now. Believe me learning to tweak the EQ and choice of cabinet will help to get a great sound but I know peoples initial reaction to this amp will be one of unsureness. Honestly I almost sent it back myself but i'm glad I didn't as I'm getting some amazing tones with it.

@benhowell67182 жыл бұрын
@@djfglobal3377 I played a 1x15 markbass combo for a couple years and gigged with it, it was an awesome amp. If you're eyeing a 2x10 I'd say go for it, they're great. The combos especially, they make them unbelievably light despite pushing crazy amounts of power

I’m being using ampeg and Eden for many years more Than 10 , I thought that my bases were old or maybe not calibrated or old strings, Someone told me not , you are good and your bases are good , go to guitar center and try whatever markbass amp that they have for demo and call me back , so I went to the music store plug the bass and In just 15 sec playing I decided to sell all my amps and get one of this 😂😂, slap sound are just amazing, mid range is just perfect and it won’t matter if your strings are 6 months old , they will be sound as bright as the sun

I don’t get the kickback idea, where do you put the amp when you kickback, does it have magnets or something to hold it in kickback position or you have to use like a different desk or something to hold the head? Kickback only makes sense when it’s a combo amp....
@captaindelculo17316 жыл бұрын
a lot of people don't just sit the head on top of the cab, but I have to agree it seems pretty inconvenient
@Kuuuks6 жыл бұрын
Captain Del Culo I thinks it’s rather the opposite, a lot of people sit their amp on top of the cab why would you have to carry another table or something to hold the amp whiles the cab is right there?

hello maybe someone can enlighten me. what's the use of having 2 or 4 speakers if ur placing the microphone in front of just one?
@alastor10526 жыл бұрын
If you consider the fact that the signal going through all of the four speakers is the same, you would only have to mic up one for the signal. Having four speakers moves way more air and is therefore way better at producing a louder sound since sound is just air being moved.

@tortillaman24915 жыл бұрын
I was about to buy this 4x10 and found out the tweeter is not adjustable on the Marcus Miller cabs. If you plug high-power heads into power sockets in old buildings with bad ground, you get buzzing thru the tweeter. And if you turn the treble down, it muffles your overall tone. Best to turn the tweeter off in that situation. Plus.....if you use FX, it's good to turn the tweeter up for chorus or overdrive pedals. Disappointed in these cabs.

Yes, you can, as long as you have the right amount of load on the amp.

As long as each cab can utilize it's own speaker input with the proper ohms, yes. Lower wattage amps tend to only be able to run one cab. However that seems less common now. Recommend making sure there's at least two input jacks
