Amazing cycle! By pedalling 2 degrees of longitude west in one day, you actually experienced 8 minutes more daylight than if you had stayed at Duncansby Head :)

Im just wondering how Mr Beaumont filmed the opening scene of himself coming out of the tent. Several hypotheses: 1) He left his camera on all night pointed towards tent door 2) He paid someone to be on guard and film him coming out 3) He sneakily put his camera out, went back in had a sleep for 10 mins ( in order to look sleepy coming out) and then Lights Camera Action

Aye, Top man. I know there's lots of cyclist out there who are just as good as him ( or better) but hes defiantly that one who inspired me to get on ma bike. ! Ah member buying his cycle trip around the world book at the airport and i end up cycling around the coast and highlands of Scotland twice in prep for my trip around the world but ma trip will be much longer...probs for the rest of my life :)
