@pgtcf780610 жыл бұрын
Even back during the 80's when some of the "country" was even more pop-sounding than today, there was a place for traditional country. Now that George Strait appears to have sold out (which I'm shocked didn't happen 10 or more years ago) there is NO traditional country at all left. And no hope on the horizon of that changing for the rest of this decade.
@annegochnour225610 жыл бұрын
I know. I hardly listen to the radio anymore because I can't find an actual country station. I may only be 18, but I still know real country when I hear it. Mark Chestnutt definitely is, as is the King of Country, but most of today's? I can't stand it!

70's and 80's was a landmark for music, both Rock and country. You know why? People were different, we didn't hate and there weren't so much political bias. That generation of singers came up in homes that were not saturated in Hollywood and cell phones.

I think this is one of the best country songs of the nineties. Mark Wright produced this album and I loved how he didn’t hold back even though Mark Chesnutt’s voice is a strong instrument. The piano/steel guitar intro immediately eludes to the two people in the song. Mark’s passionate vocal shows us how much these two people need each other.
