The frustrating narrative I keep hearing is that ‘we just don’t know enough about Harris’. But the reality is that if you still think that, you haven’t been paying attention.
@FredEdeXIIIАй бұрын
Yeah, she's caught in a narrative loop. Luckily, it's not as bad as Trump's loop of being insane, but she's also not doing anything novel enough to try to refashion the loop into a different narrative. Neither of these campaigns seem very media savvy.

That's something they keep repeating and independent voters sadly are using to give Trump a chance. She has talked about economic policy for the past 4 weeks, and published a document on the campaign website. Yet, this nonsense, while the other guy has "a concept of a plan".
@rosek.5531Ай бұрын
All the major media have been bought by right wingers. CNN was bought in October 2022 by Chris Licht and Warner Bros. Discovery (supporters of Trump), that's why you're seeing more right wing views and lies. They're trying to screw over the Democrats and Democracy. I just watch Democracy Now on PBS and some podcasts on KZbin.

Does ‘health care’ come down to pharmaceuticals? I think it’s misleading and incredibly short-sighted to push the idea that taking drugs is the way to stay healthy 😮

There is such an inertia for the standard American diet that is powered by the fossil fuel industry when it comes to fertilizers and pesticides and on the other hand the greedy processed food companies that it's a hard one to shake off. Regenerative agriculture, buying locally sourced foods are slowly gaining momentum but it's an uphill climb at this point.

Dismissive terms like "never Trumper" for labeling anyone who simply doesn't align with a political candidate is ridiculous. There are many, many candidates the bulk of Americans would not vote for in an election, because they don't fit their ideals. It's just flat out vapid to dismiss someone's opinions like that.

The argument that is made is that if you want to run a business in a country as a billionaire then is in their best interests to vote for the candidate which will enact policies that would make the country more stable and prosperous for the regular people, even if they are paying more in taxes because a prosperous country for the regular people is a good country to invest in

Having multiple voices at the table to inform any big decision is the right thing to do for the country and for actually discovering solutions that work. Challenging your echo chamber through respectful debate and relying on different life experiences and expertise only helps leaders. Kamala doesn't have to "be" a left ally or a business moderate... obviously it's possible to be both and more. Being open to ideas and facts and then being decisive with that information is what good leadership does. And Cuban has been clear in his ideas and in the many interviews I've heard he's sounded altruistic and pragmatic.
