After watching this two-parter for the 500th time I should probably chuck my ten-bob in. Mark E. Smith was the only real, proper genius western civilisation has ever produced. When I say "genius," I mean a mind that is separate from any external influence yet at same time able to absorb it and interpret said influences in such as way that it the end result is so much better. The man could read a shopping receipt and in 30 seconds read out a bizarre, beautiful, madly sci-fi interpreteation of it and keep people guessing about it for years after. Nothing will ever compare to The Fall in my lifetime or anyone elses'. I love it when people say they don't get The Fall. It leaves more for the rest of us. Be less beastly...listen to The Fall.

Mark has got to a point where his look is again (more or less) matching with his real age. For anybody thinking that Mark has had a terrile aging, they must consider that for man who hasn´t work out in his life and who by this day still drinks three pints on a interview on absolute daylight, mark has hold on quite well. Mark could have been much more of a genius with maybe, lets say, only a third part of the abuse he´s taken. Respect the man anyway

***** I´m a deffinetly a fall fan, but come on, there is a lot of things I would have changed if somehow I had control over this music. I would say that almost half of the songs on their entire carrer are actually not just wacky, but not good, sometimes. Anyway, try to play that other 50% I´m talking about to a common public. They would go crazy about it and tell you to take some serious therapy. What bands do you consider as good as the fall ? Just kurious.
