To mark events as key events in GA4, log in to your Google Analytics 4 account, navigate to Admin at the bottom left corner, and click on Events under the Data Display column. Find the event you want to mark as a key event, click on the event name to open its details, and toggle the switch to mark it as a Key event. Ensure the event is marked correctly, usually confirmed by a visual indicator or label next to the event name.
To add a new conversion action in Google Ads, log in to your Google Ads account and go to Goals - Summary - New Conversion Action. In the Conversions section, select Import and then Google Analytics properties. Choose the GA4 property and the key events you want to import under Web, and follow the prompts to complete the import process.
