I have to remark that your playing is of the highest order: the way you build up the climax and the remarkable ritardando you played before the mini-cadenza moves me like few other performers of this piece have. You really got it!

I felt this was a more careful and expressive interpretation of the piece than many others I have heard. Beautiful sound from the piano.

beautiful, subtle and sober piano playing in my favourite Rach prelude, conveys the depth and darkness of soul I believe the composer was experiencing in exile: looking back and longing for a home that no longer exists thank you! beautiful and clear piano sound also - I'm curious: how was the recording made? what kind of piano?
