Almost 50 years since the original version. Hard to believe. We were kids back then and didn't know it. He could be his granddad. But so could we. He still sounds really good. He was one of rocks great front men. Grand Funk was a great power trio.

I was a huge GFR fan as a young teenager. I had a poster of MF on my bedroom wall. I got to meet him in the mid 80’s. He was friendly and gracious and talk to us even though we were interrupting his breakfast. Glad to see he’s still playing/ performing 50 years later.

My brothers and I have listened to GFR from the beginning of their careers. Love the band and the music! I’m one that wishes they could work out the differences and come together again. It would definitely be one of the best things to the music industry to see what the impact would be on those who have followed their music throughout. Probably too late but only God knows how that would have been like.
