Can't tell you how much of a gent this guy is. Did something for me through the charity foundation that will stay with the family forever. A top, top man.

Was in greaves sports with my grandson many years ago Mark was in buying trainers. Brian asked for his autograph Mark didn’t just sign it He showed an interest asking who he played for told him to listen to his coaches etc. when Brian thanked him his reply was”don’t thank me the pleasure is all mine” a absolute gent.

Outstanding player who took time to settle but once he did he did not look back, had everything you wanted for a top class striker, power, pace, intelligent and could mix it when required. As a Rangers fan, for me the Mark Hateley and Maurice Johnstone partnership was electric. The understood each others game so well, very intelligent. Scored great goals together. Gave fantastic service to the club

Surprised to see open goals only got 98k subscribers. It's got to be better than any other Scottish football podcast. They can joke a bit too much to go on about the hydro. People like CJ Novo have near 56 k from a bedroom. Independent media is now the real money pitcher. For guests no one beats these guys.🏴🇬🇧👍

Top episode. You boys are great at what you do. The way you were hanging off every word as Mark recalled his goal v Inter, was a joy to see. “Just a ball in the box” 😂

What a footballing history this guy had let’s be honest or got me anyway I remember big long haired guy socks down no shaven getting sent off for elbowing a Celtic player in the face , I wouldn’t of thought of anything he’s told us about tho of course in the years to come I was shown he was a very very good player

Luv the podcast but he acted like a complete prick, every decent question he was asked he answered with "I've a good story about that it's in the book can't tell you now " could sense the lads were thinking why bother coming on? Good luck with book by all accounts all sales are needed badly Ts
