Even though it was completely different from Sports Machine, another show I always think of is Roggin's Heroes. It was vaguely similar to Sports Machine cuz it was syndicated (as in it didn't have a specific network, it might be on NBC in one city or any other network in other cities depending on who bought the rights in each individual market) and it was also shown late at night on the weekends. Like right after SNL. It was a bloopers show and sometimes they had sports bloopers. Otherwise it was like America's Funniest Home Videos with random dumb funny shit with ppl failing at various stuff.

Russell W He quit Olympic competition because he was competing against people on steroids he could never beat clean. He’s said that in interviews. There was a big problem with steroid usage in the olympics at the time this was filmed and going back to the early 80’s. Train your legs and give it time, 5'11" is not really tall and if you are dunking at 5'11" people find it impressive even for pro players.
