In his reality, does he know it was Max who turned him in? Basically the police just kind of show up and arrest him and he's not done anything to Max. It would have to be flashbacks or news articles and the broken realities would be a big part of her

I can totally see another student reference his work, either ignoring his crimes or pulling a "separate the art from the artist" and just using it in lessons anyway. That could effect max or it could not, but the node would be interesting!

If we get flashbacks of Jefferson because of trauma, I'd be okay with it. But no, he shouldn't return in present day, because that would feel like some Rise of Skywalker bring-back-Emperor-Palpatine-because-we-don't-know-what-else-to-do crap.

I guess they could include him in some small way, but the devs have said Double Exposure would be fine for brand new players to the Life is Strange series.

Yes,. Realistically I think there is a 90% chance Jefferson would be killed in prison. Sean Prescott would arrange for Jefferson to be silenced, the prisoners would think of him as a child molester, or maybe some nice karmic justice, a lethal injection from the State. Anyway, he will be part of Max's nightmares, another reason Max and Chloe may not be able to have a life together.

My prediction is that Jefferson won’t even be mentioned in this new game.

Well, you’d be wrong then. People who played a little bit of the game early pointed out that in text that Max’s parents asked if Jefferson ever touched or did anything weird to her, and Max is very cold and distant when talking about that sort of thing.

Maybe Jefferson can split reality on two timelines, this is how he escaped the jail and not he wants to corrupt Max's mind by killing her friend. If there was storm, Jefferson was dead but he survived in another timeline.
