I've seen many live performances in my life. Level 42 was the best. I saw them live in the early 90s, in Hereford leisure centre in the UK a small venue compared to many they played. It felt intimate and the sound was fantastic. When he played his bass rift at speed i was exhausted just listening. The very best live concert I'd ever been to. I still enjoy listening to their music on vinyl 30+ years later.

@@tenthletter2678I don't agree. I listen Mark since 40 years and I play bass also since 40 years. So much details and little things in his game are so different, never the same accent (bass), new riff. Maybe everyone can't ear that, it's not important ... Anyway, it's only my opinion.
@tenthletter26785 ай бұрын
@@JusteBlind For all your years you seem to have a loose grasp of what many of the terms you flaunt about actual mean. The "Love Games" riff has by no means ever changed. If that happened it would be, whatayacallit: a different song. Has it sped up from the studio track? Yes. Has it then again slowed down from the 'early days' playing very fast version? Yup. Does he occasionally snap/pop in a different place? Sure. And these are not things that are in the realm of "opinion"; these are facts. Now, discussion of King's ever-shite tone through several decades, no matter what his gear is, yes: that would be "opinions". Things that are subjective. But yes, none of it in important. We all have our favourite players....
