First saw them in 1982 at the Top Rank, Brighton UK. A week later I saw The Brothers Johnson at the same venue with the amazing Louis Johnson on bass. A surfeit of 'thunderthumbs'! 😍

Comment Mark King peut jouer de la Basse en martelant une rythmique mélodique..voire parfois contre mélodique et chanter en même temps une autre Mélodie.. Mon Père qui était un des meilleurs Bassistes de sa génération me disait que Mark King avait plusieurs cerveaux tellement c'est unique ce que fais ce musicien. What makes great Mark King is the amazing music he plays with Level 42 .....Flea is a good bassist but plays shit music with rhcp as well as led claypool with Primus....the music to play for a bass player is disco funk and soul ...this is the genre that made bass players famous.
