It’s a really cool and unique album. It stands out for its superb musicianship and sound. Hard to believe it’s from 1984.

I think it's a bit of a puzzler in a way; like a nagging feeling it was entitled to be caught in a trawl of 'the' best groove/harmonic albums of all time ~ but got disqualified as a result of the direction L42 took 3 or 4 years down the line.

@@montygibbon1905 Funny, but it’s tempting to think that he could have knocked out another few in the decade that followed but Level 42 were at their peak from 1986-1989 and he was too busy I guess! I didn’t buy his 1996 solo album yet.

I heard Mark mention Pete Ray Biggin on drums, Gary Husband and Mike on keys, Nathan King guitar, not sure who's on brass but it must include Sean Freeman on Sax. It sounds brilliant.
