This is very similar to Mark Knight's Been a Long Time remix, what a tune.

In that "Been A Long Time" remix, I wish Mark had never put the vocal part at around 3 minutes 20 seconds into the track. The vocal is in a different key to the instruments. The key of the vocal is C-sharp-minor, whereas the key of the instruments is A-flat-minor, so the vocal is rooted at the fourth degree of the key of the instruments. It's a common mistake with dance music creators to get the Aolian mode mixed up with the Dorian mode - especially if they came from a DJ background where it generally sounds okay to mix Aolian and Dorian of the same tonic/root.
