Many years ago when I didn't fully understand that 99% of the reason why I loved Dire Straits so much was because of Mark Knopfler, Private Investigations was one of my absolute favorite songs. I think the general vibe I get from Prairie Wedding is relatively similar to PI and explains why this song is also one of my all time favorites. Then again, I'm not sure there's such a thing as a Mark Knopfler tune that isn't one of my favorite songs to listen to. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have been able to hear and enjoy so much amazing creativity from him over all these years.
