absolutely, there are a few ambitious steel players that have put videos on here, playing this end riff, and they are great efforts, but not entirely on the money Paul is so fast and deadly accurate.

I credit Mr Knopfler for my success as a musician. I spent countless hours as a child listening to Dire Straits following along to the rhythm using my mother’s broom as a guitar. It wasn’t until she was getting behind on her chores was when she decided it was time to get me a proper guitar. 30 years to the day, I still listen to Dire Straits, and follow along with the same guitar my mother gave me. Hats off to you Mr. Knopfler a true inspiration to all.

And i love it. He never stopped trying to perfect the same old songs. In the 80's he was just another guitarist. i mean he was good. But he became an alltime great after what, 30 years of perfecting his craft

A Te, lumachina. Eppure sei fuggita… 😨 Andrea 💜
